Some of the commonly came across questions on LinkedIn. These are some common things which will help use LinkedIn better if they before start using LinkedIn or at the initial stages of using LinkedIn.
Forgot Password : When you forget your password and if you have only one email associated with a LinkedIn profile and don’t have access to that email address, then contacting LI customer service is the only option. So, it is always better to have your personal email address as your primary email address rather than official email address.
Duplicate Account Creation : I see many people create duplicate account inadvertently. This happens mainly because of accepting invitations from various email addresses that you have. You CAN’T have duplicate profiles or CAN’T MERGE LinkedIn Prfoiles. So, it’s always better to register all your email addresses with active LinkedIn Account.
Exporting and Transferring Your Connections : If you have a duplicate profile, before deleting the duplicate one(s) you can export and transfer connections from one profile to another http://help.linkedin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3
Edit Education Details : On the edit profile page, scroll still down the page until you can see details about education and not just the name of the Institutions.
Edit Experience Details : On the edit profile page, scroll down to the position you would like to remove (under experience and not at the top where you see ‘Title’ and ‘Company name’)
