How is it useful?

Go live from your laptop

Now live broadcasts are only a few clicks away. Stream your hangout publicly on your Google+ profile, your YouTube channel, and your website.

Save instantly to YouTube

You don't need special software to record your conversation. Every Hangout On Air is automatically saved to your YouTube account.

Share to the world

Edit and share the recorded hangout. Once your hangout is over, it's easy to keep the conversation going. Your hangout video is shared publicly on Google+ and on your YouTube channel. You can reshare this video just like any other.


How it works:

Start a hangout

Start a hangout and invite specific people or Google+ circles to join you. Then name your hangout.

Enable Hangouts On Air

Check "Enable Hangouts On Air". The first time you do this, you will need to agree to the Terms of Service and also link your YouTube account.  Learn more

Start your broadcast

Click "Start broadcast" to go on air. After a five-second countdown, your hangout will start broadcasting to the public on your Google+ profile, your YouTube channel, and on any website where you've embedded it. Recording starts when broadcasting starts.

Edit and Publish your Hangout On Air

To make changes to your video, try YouTube's video editor.

For videos longer than two hours, you'll need to download, edit, and then upload the videos again to your YouTube channel. Learn more about how to download your video.

Facebook Privacy Shortcuts


Facebook has released a new "Privacy Shortcuts". This is to make the access to change the important privacy options easily.

If it has been already activated for your account, you can see that on the top of the page(next to "Home".)

    

Clicking on the 'See More Settings' lead to the Privacy Settings page.

Facebook Help Center has explained the new option as below:

Your privacy shortcuts give you quick access to some of the most widely used privacy settings and tools. Click  at the top of the page to see shortcuts that help you manage,
  • Who can see my stuff?
  • Who can contact me?
  • How do I stop someone from bothering me?
This is also where you'll find the latest privacy updates and other helpful tools. Check the same here

With the new "Privacy Shortcuts" making it easy to access and change your Privacy settings, a better secured Facebook is developing.

Facebook is also changing some of its options easier to find and understand.
